SPSA stands for Students and Parents in Support of the Arts.  This organization was created in the 2006-2007 school year to help nurture and strengthen the art, music and drama programs throughout the South Glens Falls Central School District.  Now that SPSA is well into it's fourth year, we are very excited with our progress. 

Remember, EVERY CENT that we make in profit goes back to the students in the form of funding for art supplies, fees, trips, musical instruments and scholarships. In fact, each year, SPSA gives out seven $200 dollar scholarships to deserving students. As we grow, we hope to greatly increase our scholarship fund.

Adopt-a-Seat Fundraiser

The Parents in Support of the Arts (SPSA) is helping the South Glens Falls Music Department purchase a baby grand piano for the newly renovated High School Auditorium.  We have started an "Adopt a Seat" program to let community members "adopt" an auditorium seat for a fee of $50 per individual or family and $100 for local businesses.  By adopting a seat, participants' names or a short message will be engraved on a metal nameplate to be permanently affixed to their adopted seat.  

If you are interested in adopting a seat for the High School Auditorium, please go to the SPSA Fundraisers Tab (Up-coming Fundraisers) and print a request form.  Return the completed form along with your payment to: SPSA, c/o Dolores Bullivant, South Glens Falls High School, 42 Merritt Road, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.  We will contact you when your payment is received and also let you know when your nameplate has been attached to your adopted seat.
